Thermoform Tooling
ATI has in-house tooling experts to design and fabricate machined and cast molds and CNC trim fixtures. Our mold designs normally include uniform temperature-control systems and thermocouples to monitor mold performance. These features are critical to yield part repeatability. Our staff is proficient on MasterCam, and SolidWorks. This gives us the ability to translate the most common CAD file formats for communications and quoting as well as programming tool building and fixtures. Our in-house tool shop has the reputation of producing some of the best tools in the industry for durability, tolerances, finish and sophistication. Trimming fixtures are vacuum holding devices with either cast urethane or machined surfaces that match the formed part and hold it in place for repeatable precision trimming and finish. Assembly fixtures are also designed and fabricated in-house to ensure exacting and efficient location of mating parts. |
